Considering the abuse that I put it through trying to mill out two 80% lowers using a drill press, it has held up very well. The tool was very effective at both drilling and milling and leaves an excellent finish. If you're considering this product for the same purpose, I would recommend sticking with a milling machine. You'll get a much better finish (far less chatter) and you won't have to worry about the bit slipping out of the chuck every five minutes (first lower had 3/8" hole punched through the bottom of the FCG pocket due to an unexpected slippage, however I kept that in mind for the second one (by marking the top of the bit so I would know if it moved down) and got by without incident).

Great quality mill bit! I used this to do some milling on 6061 aluminum. I had a quite extensive amount of milling to do and this bit held up great and continues to work great. I would definitely recommend to anyone, it even comes with a little case to keep the bit in.

I've been using a cheap set of end mills that came from the same retailer as my micro mill. I needed a longer end mill for a special project so having read reviews on the Kodiak end mill, i went ahead and paid the price, hoping that it would be well worth it. Well let me tell you it was. My cheap end mills at their best were nothing even close to this kodiak. I honestly think those cheap end mills couldn't even be considered sharp when compared to this. With the Kodiak in my machine, I can turn the collet by hand and this mill will actually cut the metal easily. Very sharp, good quality, love it.

Great quality end mill bit. I purchsed for a small project at home. The bit worked great, never got dull and looked new after about 2 hrs of cutting aluminum. I could have paid much more elsewhere for the same bit, but very happy I went with Kodiak Cutting Tools. Thanks for the great packaging, quick shipping and low price.
