I've used hundreds of router bits and have never had a bearing fall off. I was trimming roof sheathing flush to facia so the bearing and tiny screw are lost in the mud below. Made a big gouge in the facia. Tried putting a bearing on it from a standard router bit, but the threads are different. Now its useless. Don't buy this junk.

I am very pleased with these router bits they are Sharp and cut very clean I make Adirondack chairs and use these bits on my patterns to cut out pressure treated wood and it does a fantastic job better then my $85 bit . Only thing I do is make sure the bearing on top is tight before Evey pass it was never loose but I do that for Evey bit I use and Evey pass I do just a safety thing I do but I highly recommend these bits you won't be disappointed at all

I've never had a bad router bit from KEENTECH, and this one is no exception. There is a bearing guide at the top of the bit, making the woodworking easy to follow. Make a 1/4" plywood pattern in the exact size and shape, and this bit will follow it precisely. Great buying experience!

When I bought my first router, I tried some of the less expensive router bits, which almost turned me off to routing, as there were a lot of tears out, etc, with those bits. You can't expect too much for a set that has more than 20 bits for less than $50. You get what you pay for.KEENTECH was a most excellent choice for me, I have to admit Freud makes a great product, but their price is equally unbeatable. Why wouldn't I go with a top-quality product at an affordable price?
