This is a combination fishfinder and transducer mount. This works best mounted to the edge of a kayak, paddleboard or canoe. It comes with a mounting rail and hardware. The fishfinder is mounted via a double 1.5" ball arm while the adjustable transducer arm is capable of holding the transducer underwater then up out of the water when underway. Both the fishfinder and transducer arm have toolless adjustments. The transducer arm has adjustable depth and angle capability to get the best angle for optimal operation. This mount is compatible with many fishfinders.Would recommend this to anyone.

I have a Reel Yak modular fishing kayak with pre-fitted T-tracks. I used to use two separate 1.5" ball mounts, one for the finder head, one for a homemade transducer holder with a 1.5" ball on one end of a section of aluminum T-slot and the transducer on the other. Clunky and a lot of track space was getting used up. Then these came along. This mount works nicely with my smaller Garmin Stryker4 finder and its transducer. The boat mount portion that screws to the transducer will bolt to the end of the transducer arm with a single stainless bolt passing through both. I added a couple of thin rubber washers each side, a couple of stainless washers and a lock nut for a nice secure mounting. The finder head base bolts to the plate. Again, you need your own hardware.I didn't need the included 6" section of T-track. The whole assembly was removed from it (twist the base to loosen the T-bolt) and attached to my existing T-track on the kayak. It can be removed just as easily, but it is pretty secure when tightened. I have an extensible wire safety lanyard from an eyebolt further up the T-track to the assembly to prevent an expensive loss were it to fall overboard. Currently it's around the stem of one of the balls, but I may drill a small hole in the top of the mount arm for a split ring. The whole thing looks a lot neater than the old method of attachment. It performs as well as the old way, if not better. It also comes off the kayak fairly easily when done for the day. That's important, because this is a modular kayak that splits into two 5-foot sections and fits into the back of my SUV!

Attaches to the kayak quickly, but it is difficult to get the transducer to sit in the proper direction

This mount arrived in excellent condition, and not too soon.I have a Hobie Revolution 11 pedal kayak. In the past I came up with a half-baked transducer mount for it (Look for the grey PVC pipe in one of my photos.) to accommodate my Garmin Striker 4 fish/depth finder. I live on a river where places can get shallow. I use the Garmin for depth finding primarily to protect my kayak's pedal mechanism. This mount represents a significant improvement over my homebrew method. It's simpler, it's T-track mounted, and it will keep my transducer from moving out of position. The only challenge, if I can call it that, is that I need to pad out the gap in the transducer mount (washers or sleeves) so that the transducer stays stationary in the mount. (See second photo.) I can do that.I was able to mount the finder itself to the plate that is a portion of this mount. The plate has a lot of predrilled holes (presumably for different finders) and three of them line up just right for mounting my Striker 4. I had to provide my own stainless hardware, but that's to be expected for a general purpose product. The mount connects to some T-track I already had installed on my kayak, and it holds firmly to the T-track when fastened down. The dual swivel balls support a broad range of adjustment for the finder, and the attached arm holding the transducer extends down far enough to keep the transducer below the water line. My T-track is slightly forward of the flippers for the pedal mechanism so I expect to get good readings. If not, I can mount the provided T-track further forward to address the problem.Construction quality is good. I believe the most vulnerable part is the arm that extends down for the transducer. A fore-to-aft blow on the arm could snap it. If I were designing version 2 of this mount I'd introduce some sort of spring-loaded release mechanism (maybe a hinge point and a bungee-like strap to hold it in place under normal use).

This is the all in one mount you need! 1.5 inch ball mounts are bullet proof. This is sturdy and will hold up many different fish finders, having the transducer arm on the same mount makes this a breeze to take off and put on all at once. If you get a thru hull quick connect for the battery cables you can make a clean easy to mount/move set up that is good looking and functional. It even comes with it's own T track, so you don't even need to buy one or have one mounted, you can just use the included mount and throw this on any watercraft that has a flat area and you're ready to fish!I highly suggest checking these out. Great product I would recommend thoroughly.

Good:Combines ducer and graph mountingComes with accessory rail (and a good one- having screws outside the track means it will resist torsion much better which is important for a transducer mount)Has enough adjustability that it should work with pretty much any kayakBad:Positioning this mount far enough forward to not pick up noise from your pedal or paddle likely means you're probably stretching pretty good to reach the graphStandard nuts used on most of the joints- nylon lock nuts would have been better hereBalls arent really rubberized like ram mounts so they might be more likely to slip but i've not had issues yetMy biggest gripe is that to save only a couple cents, there is no spring between the two halves of the dogbone. It just makes removal of one ball a little less easy- by no way a 'problem'

Great product and good quality but a little over priced. So far it works great.

I like having a single mounting point for both the transducer and the fish finder display on my kayak, rather than mounting the transducer thru a scupper hole and then putting the display on a ball mount.
