I installed a very small Helix 5 sonar on the mount, and within 5 miles of the house noticed my sonar was flopping around. The top ball interior threaded part broke away from the ball, so I could have lost the sonar. It was lucky my son saw the issue in the rearview mirror.

Base keeps moving or falling over. Feels like it is going to break if I try tightening the screw more.

This wouldn’t work for my fish finder but the low price I plan to keep it for another use down the road . Ended up buying an actual ram mount for my fish finder display.

Mounted a humminbird helix 5 to it. None of the holes lined up so had to use screws to mount. Haven't had any trouble with it coming loose or mount moving around.
