iBOLT has a winner on their hands. The IncrediBOLT Class B clamp arm with dual rotating sockets means one can mount this and aim it on anything the clamp can open to grasp! I've updated it with a 1" ball and Arca-Swiss quick release mount in place of the fish finder plate. I can now use the clamp as a camera mount for any long exposures where a tripod is prohibited. It is awesome. The polymer construction is so lightweight, and the dual rotating joints allow to precisely aim the camera. Exceeded my expectations. Cool and useful new design.

I ended up using this for a few different fish finder type devices--one a camera with a display that mounted perfectly to this mount and the other an actual fish finder that remains on it. It is lightweight, but durable with a very strong, solid feel to it. It goes on easily and is very versatile for multiple use cases. Great product!

I liked the clamping jaw is robust and closes into itself so you can put it on a fairly small diameter tube or bar. They also give you a theft deterrent adapter so you take the paddle handle off the claw and put the adapter on. They give you a key, similar to torx drive so you can lock the jaw on a bar and there is no way to loosen it with out the torx adapter key they supply. That was thinking in the right direction. Instructions are good but do not show or discuss the theft proof key and nut supplied. The entire unit including the pad is nylon or plastic or a compound of both. This could hold a phone or fish finder or you could use another adapter you have that has a 1 inch ball on it.

I got this mount to use in my Bass Hound with my Humminbird Matrix 87C. I already had a custom mount for the Matrix, so I was able to adapt it to fit the plate of this mount. Once the clamps are in place, there is no movement of the imaging unit.; I clamped it to 1" PVC conduit that I used to make the transducer mount and arm. It is a lot easier to mount and dismount this to the boat than it was the previous iteration of this setup; it only takes loosening the mounting clamp thumbscrew and it is done (I leave the Matrix attached to the mount).
