What a quality piece of equipment. Years ago I met a guy in Key West with multiple fish finders on his boat dash. Of course at a marina you go say hi and he told me he worked to convert naval sonar to a fish finder and owned the Lowrance company. It was Darryl Lowrance. He praised simplicity and durability. Since then I have tried a few other competitors but always go back to Lowrance. As a USCG ships master I understand the importance and practicality of his devices.they seem simpler to me than Garmin and simpler and more intuitive than Simrad or B&G. The install is a few hours and it powers right up. Fantastic bottom image. Better than my 12 inch HDS Carbon which was excellent. So, in 50 years…my Lowrances have always turned on, worked without reading the instructions, and helped me catch a lot of fish.the PRO alive models seem the best. But several years of the Carbon series was quite good. Going from my 30 ft fishing boat to a friends with a top Garmin…the Lowrance was easier for me as I THINK? The Garmin required another step but was definitely not as bright.

Every thing shows a HD 3 in 1 transducer. The pictures of the unit and the whats in the box shows it being the HD version. Even the box says it includes the HD version, but it's the regular 3 in 1 transducer in the box.

Very satisfied, especially with the FL Marine Tracks

Under the section “what’s in the box”, the transducer that is included says active imaging HD 3 in 1. It does NOT come with the HD transducer. It is the original active imaging 3 in 1 only. Very misleading.
