I do Swedish Embroidery and this is great to hold my yarn. Durable and looks nice for your work area. Easy to pack and carry. Price is great 😃

For anyone who starts on the outer yarn, this works great to keep yarn from tangling and rolling everywhere.

These look nice but are pointless as they doesn't function the way items like this should. The part in the base that spins has too much tension, so the natural pulling of yarn that you do when knitting/crocheting will not activate it. You have to hold the base with one hand and pull the yarn with the other to get it to unravel, which completely defeats the purpose. There is some weird magnet type thing in the base that I assume is meant to help but doesn't. Get yourself the other yarn holder on here, the one that is 100% wood - it works way better and I will be ordering 2 to replace these even though it costs more.

Mauvaise qualité, très petit, s’assemble très mal et tourne moyennement bien je ne recommande pas

Peg holding yarn isn’t stable, seems to tip to one side. Had to use a clamp to hold the base, kept falling over. When yarn is fresh works ok, once it gets smaller it doesn’t.

I really like this set. The spindles are not exactly the same, however. One of them is snug fitting, but the other fits loosely. The crochet hooks are nice too. They are in-line, which I like. They are a little rough and snaggy, but that's easily fixed with some fine sandpaper. What can one expect? They are inexpensive so the just need a little TLC. The size in mm are lightly etched into the wood, so hopefully they will stay visible for a while. I'm excited to use them. Wooden crochet hooks are easier on older hands, I'm told. I downgraded it from a 5 to a 4 star only because of the roughness of the hooks and that one of the spindles don't fit together exactly right. It's still usable, just don't pick up the spindles by the rod without thinking.

Honestly I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing but not only are they terribly small but they do not stay in place. It does not spin well nor does it not stay in place. I am trying so hard to find anything good about them or even trying to use them. But all the poles are terribly made. All the skewers that are meant for this product are all DIFFERENT sizes and they either fit too tight, too loose or just right. Please do not purchase. The hooks on the other side aren’t too bad.

Cons:- The one dowel that fits does not stay in place and wobbles.- The other dowel doesn’t even fit into the base.- Wood has some very raw, rough patches.- The image on the product listing is misleading and shows a shiny finished wood. This product has either a barely there varnish in some random spots and none on others.- This product could be made by running to your local hardware store and it is mostly likely cheaper to do just that.Pros:- It’s a clean slate to customize and the parts were provided.Customization:- I glued the one dowel that fits into place- I sanded the rough patches- Will be adding either paint, then varnish or just varnish to smooth the surfaces to glide with the yarn- Also adding non-skid pieces to the bottom
