These overdrive gears do what they're supposed to. When you put the 14T in back, I think they provide about an 8% overdrive. Not much, but it helps. The steel construction has proven to be durable over the last few months of abuse. Honestly, I'd like to see some options for a greater reduction in the rear, or increase in the front. This set did improve the crawling ability on my Deadbolt, and there was a slight reduction in turning radius. I've got a 16T on order for my rig, and I expect to see more performance gains after installation. It would have been nice to have some installation instructions, because I put the 14T in front at first. I put pieces of tape on my tires to observe the difference in rotation and realized that I was overdriving the rear at first. Easy fix, and totally my fault, but still a bit of a pain and waste of valuable crawling time.

I bought a set of aluminum axels that came with the overdrive so I got the set to match hi-lo or have the overdrive. Works as expected

13T in the back and 14T in the front acts a little like a "front dig," facilitating sharper turns. It probably climbs better now, too, but honestly I can't really tell. It's also around 15-20% faster than the 16T standard gear.There was a great YouTube video showing the whole tear down and rebuild of the scx24 drive train, so I skipped to the important parts to make sure I didn't break anything.Parts have held up to many hours of driving. Would buy again.

They are exactly what they say they are. I love the fact that you can mis and match. I have two builds going at once and it was nice to get overdrive gears for both of them

High quality gears and perfect fit. Grease the gears before covering it all back up! I used white lithium grease and it works great! Bundle of two was a great deal!
