Needed a new bashing gear for my Kraton and this works great. It's a legit oem gear so it's hardened and fits exactly as it should. I really prefer the d ring style since you get a flat spot to really secure the gear with the grub screw. Good stuff.

I’ve been through like 15 of these, either the threads on the pinion strip out, or the grub screw strips out. I use quality hex wrenches and am careful not to over tork. But it’s just impossible to keep from happening. That said, I do like the d safe that fits perfect on the motor shaft…. Pretty much why I keep using them.

I believe this is one tooth up from the stock size. Works great. I would recommend a motor heat-sink and fan though. I don’t recall the motor getting so hot with the stock pinion but it was colder weather too so…
