These suspender boots are genius. I've never been able to get normal dog boots to stay on my GSD for more than a couple of steps. His paws just don't work to secure at the joint properly without making them too tight. These suspenders pull the boot back in place with every step. Well constructed too. Felt lining all along the inside of each boot including the inner sole. Tread is rubber and has a good amount of flexibility and durability. All straps are elastic. Junctions are split rings (think large key rings) so you can swap the individual boots out, although it'd actually be nice if they sold the front and back sets separately as I think many dogs will have slightly differently sized front and back paws (especially with dewclaws and the like). Their suggestion that you might just need to order two sets isn't a very good value proposition. The boot material is water resistant for puddles, but I wouldn't have your dog standing in several inches of water.Requires a harness to secure the front junction to on the back between the shoulder blades. Could use a bit more complex webbing on the back too as the current single strap slides quite a bit left to right with each step. Something that actually hugged the thigh and then the boot attaching to that would lessen chaffing from the straps moving so much. Also wish they swapped the hook and loop portions on the velcro straps. Currently the hook portion is the base so some of it will always be exposed unless your dog has extremely skinny paw joints, and that portion is much more likely to catch on things than if it was the loop side. Wish they had a quick release between the boot and the strap to make it easier to detach for cleaning, as the straps are currently sewn into the boots.

These suspender boots are exactly what I needed after purchasing numerous individual dog boots that simply get lost in the snow. It was a bit of a challenge putting them on as my dog was a bit apehensive over all the body strapping and adjustment. It took a few slow trails around the house to get him accustomed to the feel; but once mastered, he was able to strut and frolick in deep snow without losing his footing .

We have pitbull/boxer mix. She has tender feet and crazy dew claw that gets in the way of most booties. I like the idea of these. I've tried several adjustments. Her back feet won't stay in all the way. I've tightened the back strap, but then it pulls on her collar. I like that there's lots of adjustments to get a good fit. I will keep trying. The front boots stay on nicely. The back strap does move across her back as she walks. I do wonder on a long walk if that will irritate. Booties are better than I expected. Solid rubber bottom. The Velcro strap above her paw is in a good spot.

I measured my dogs paws with claws and picked the size off the chart that was closest. The shoes were WAY too big for my furbaby. The size could fit all her paws in one boot. I was so disappointed 😞 My furbaby is rambunctious so regular dog shoes end up coming off of her thought this would end that issue. I can say the boots are made of great quality materials as I did feel them when I tried to put them on her.

I got a size 5 for my 55lb lab mix based on the size chart, and they fit perfectly.I was surprised how easy to get on these were. I've tried other boots that go high up on the leg and they're always a struggle. But these were really quick to slide her feet into, tighten the velcro around her ankles, and tighten up the straps over her back.My hope for these was that they could stay on while running, as we can never play fetch on snowy days. The disposable rubber booties tear when she runs, and all other boots fly off. I thought the straps over the back would help these stay on snugly even when running. But nope, the second she started running they came flying off her back legs. The nice thing was because of the straps I didn't lose them in the snow, they were still connected to her, but they were no longer on her feet.However our whole walk to the park they stayed on and she seemed comfortable walking in them. Other booties that go high up on the legs, she's uncomfortable in and does that goofy wide-leg, high-step walk dogs in boots sometimes do. In these she was walking normally. I think because they connect over the back, they don't have to be as tight around her legs to stay on, so she's more comfortable. These will be my new boots of choice on days when snow is higher than an inch or two, or weather is cold enough that I want her legs insulated.I don't see anything wrong with the quality- seems like they'll hold up well with use. I do wish they came with some sort of instructions. I had to refer back to the listing to see how they're supposed to fit and which way is "front".

I'm not sure how I feel about these, but I know how my dog feels! She will tolerate them but doesn't like them. They are kind of a PITA to put on, which I expected, but it's more because of the straps getting tangled up and having to figure out what goes where. The sizing chart didn't work very well for me. I even sized down as suggested.However, I will say that they are well made, and once you get them on they do stay put as they are supposed to. I will give them good marks for quality but I'm just not sure how practical they really are.
