These are nice little covers for a smaller dog. I think of them as like little boot covers to keep them clean. They worked well in a very, particularly muddy area of our property.

This paw protectors are made of extremely lightweight fabric, so I'm not sure what they are supposed to protect against. I live in the country on a sheep ranch and they are insufficient for my Yorkie. The attachments is a detached velcro strap that threads through and eye to tighten. My problem is that the tendency will be to over tighten these protective sleeves to get them to stay on without slipping off and potentially hurt the dog. I am returning these protectors and will continue to search for a more substantial alternative.
