kinda low on ankle and i got the correct size when i knew better, always get 1-2 sizes bigger makes so much easier putting on and off and you can tighten with straps so they won't fall off, went against my better judgement and got his correct sixe and they are hard to put on dew claw and stuff so take my advice 2 sizes up will work fi e, just tighten straps as much as possible and golden never buy correct size something i e learned through trial and error trust me

I have tried other brands of dog booties and I like these a lot more. The other ones I have also have two straps to hold them on the dogs paw but snow tends to get inside the booty leading my dog to try to take them off because their feet are cold and getting chapped from the snow that gets trapped in the booty. I really like these because they have a double liner and the inside liner is tighter more like a sock material that prevents the snow from getting inside of the booty however, it still has a strap and a tightening mechanism bungee cord thing it still takes time for my dog to want to put these on and get used to them. They walk a little funny at first, but after wearing them around the house a few times they were perfectly fine going out in the snow in them I particularly like them because I live in a neighborhood, where they salt the sidewalks it irritates the dogs paws.

These dog booties are really well made and good quality materials. The sole is made of a rugged rubber and creates a solid base for the booties that is good for various terrains. They have two ways to adjust the fit so you can get a pretty secure fit no matter the size of your dog’s legs.We ordered these to help our dog with some stability issues on our wood floors. They were easy to get on and it didn’t take her too long to get used to them. They fit her paws well and did give her some traction in the floors. Overall, these are really good quality and they com win a variety of sizes.

The largest size fit my GSD and Rottie perfectly. Neither was happy with them at first, but they adjusted during testing. They didn't appear to be uncomfortable in any way (but they did look funny walking until they got used to them!)Nice thick tread on the bottom, so am confident it will provide some protection come summer. They go up the paw several inches but do not prevent movement at the joint. They open up fairly wide, and the hook/loop strap allows them to be "tied" tightly. After putting them on the dog and waiting about 10 min to let him get used to them, we went outside to chase/play.The dogs took turn in the yard with them for about 20min each in the dirt. Apart from stepping higher, and not running quite as fast as they normally do, they seemed OK with them. The GSD went after some birds with these on, and he ran just fine. The Rottie did trip once, but he adjusted in short order.Apart from heat in the summer, we get "goat heads" (nasty little 'caltrop' looking thorns) that can penetrate shoes and paws. The larger ones are easier to avoid, but the smaller ones.... Dogs came in with a few each stuck to these "shoes", so am quite happy about that as the thorns are worse in the spring and early summer before we clear.Black may not be the best color for use out here in the desert, but as a first trial for my dogs, I'm happy with the performance of these. I'll have to find lighter colored ones too.In the house, these really shined, as the big guy didn't slide on the wood at all. It actually threw off his perception since he's used to sliding. Don't really NEED them in the house, but... good to know they work!I did not test the waterproof claim, but there was no moisture on their paws after testing (it rained yesterday). These are dogs, so waterproof shoes isn't really one of my concerns, personally. All in all, first time using dog "shoes" but after seeing them in town last summer, and how hot sidewalks and parking lots get... I'm happy to have them if we have to take the dogs into town at the very least, and something to protect their feet when needed otherwise.

Just got these and of course it will take time for her to get used to them but I wish the Backs were bigger as in higher up the leg.. Emmy is a Great Dane. I did the whole measure on paper etc. but over all a nice boot.

Our dog is about 16 lb medium size and we ordered the #3 2.0 inch width for 23-33 lbs. It fit our mal shi in the beginning he wasn't used to putting the shoe on so we put the shoe on the first front two paws and he'd started walking and getting used to it and then we put on the second back paws, our dog kept kicking it out but he was still getting used to walking It's protective it's a good quality The strap is easy to fasten once you get it on the dogs paws. In the beginning the dog is not used to it and you calm them down and then slowly slip the shoes onto them and petting them once he feels comfortable he will try to walk on them and try to take them off but he's getting used to it and is walking like tiptoeing and it's protecting his foot even though he's 16 lb that size fits him We have another dog Schnauzer mixed terrier ,30lbs and the shoes do not fit him it seems too small even though it says for 23 to 33 lb It's something that the dog has to get used to little by little so we use just the first two on the front and not the back so that our dog can get used to it I will update this review if any changes it takes time and patience for the dog to get used to it. We use this for our dogs in the patio where there is dirt and loose debris that. He's getting used to it but not all dogs will be comfortable and the fit is questionable as far as the size and weight goes It just depends on the dog and the fastening so I give this three stars just because dogs are not always used to wearing the paw shoes they will get accustomed. Quality of the shoe is strong ,durable easy to fasten just difficult to put on the dog if they are not used to wearing shoes. We only use the front two for now not the back because our dog keeps trying to take it off. With time we shall see if it gets better. The overall look is just like the picture. It is stylish
