They stay if you cut off the velcro that comes attached to them and buy better velcro. Then, it's still iffy.

they stay on nice for zoomies, but i bought these so my boy can play w the neighbor dog in the winter without his paws bleeding. everytime they play a leg slips out, even tho he will have pajamas on over and a coat. after using them maybe 3 times playing w the neighbor dog it just completely ripped. they for sure aren’t durable at all

No luck even getting them on .My dog doesn't seem to like them .Very difficult to try to get on a bigger dog.No tread on the bottom.Boots are very cheaply made

I think this might run a little big. Our dog is a Lab/Pitt and weighs 50 lbs. I bought the one that was suppose to fit her and it's big. But It's nice and I think if I could get the crazy girl to leave it on and use it, it would be fine. My problem is, that just like any other dog, she doesn't like having things on her feet. This should stay on, because it Velcro's around the "ankle" but she is an escape artist and gets her feet out. I keep trying because I do believe they would help her feet in the long run. I think that I should have started her wearing boots when she was a puppy and didn't mind anything that I did.

I agree with other reviews that these do run just a bit small. Definitely order one size up. In this case I wasn’t too worried, because my dog has small paws but long, skinny legs. I got her a large, but it was very short on the length. She’s a 43lb pitbull-heeler mix, typically a size large in clothes due to her “length”, not necessarily thickness. The elastic straps are maxed out to the longest length. These are great in the rain, but haven’t gotten a chance to use them in the snow yet.

I have mixed feelings about this item. For my 50 pound pitbull I tightened up the straps all the way and they were nice and snug on her. As she ran in them the straps loosened up and the boots would fall off plus lots of snow got in them. These boots did good when we did a regular leashed walk. There are straps to tighten on the bottom which my dog got out of anyways and where the top of the boot sits you can tighten it so snow doesn’t get in. I’m not exactly sure if I would buy these again for a medium sided dog like mine. I feel like if you have a larger breed where you don’t have to tighten the strap length there should be no problem. Otherwise I wish the straps didn’t slide and when I tighten them they would stay there. Until then our dog will have to only have walks with these.
