They looked like good quality and sturdy; however the rubber makes them way too heavy for a little dog to walk properly. Didn't test the ability to stay on, because I was so afraid he was going to fall while trying to walk.

This set of shoes are well constructed from my initial use, I don't see any hanging threads or loose soles, and the Velcro is the good kind that is pretty strong, The fuzzy lining is unnecessary and gimmicky in my opinion, as dogs already have furs and the lining give enough resistance to make putting on the shoes more challenging than those without the lining. This would be a bigger problem for dogs that are not well behaved. The sole is also unnecessarily complicated in patterns, which makes cleaning them difficult with all the nooks and crannies for dirt or worse. However, this is no worse than my other 2 pairs of shoes that I also own.The biggest disadvantage of this set of shoes is its price, at $19, it is almost twice the cost of other shoes of similar design and size selling on Amazon, so a star is deducted for the lack of price competitiveness.

These are cute and helpful. got them for my 12lb shin Tzu but he didn't like them at all. They are a good fit for him but he seemed to walk as if he was handicap and kept kicking out his back leg as if it was strained. Took some time to adjust to them though.

It took a little bit for my grandpup to be receptive to wearing shoes, but I think she realized that the alternative was freezing pavement under her paws, and gave in. They seem to work just fine, and as long as she cooperates, are easy to put on. They have been great this winter so far.

They are some sturdy little shoes for a doggie. I got a little chihuahua that doesn't like her feet touching the snow. And I got them for her. They definitely provide ample protection those it'll take some time for her to get use to it. It definitely does what it's supposed to do.

Our Italian Greyhound has sensitive paws that don't do well in snow or rain. To help combat this issue, we use boots anytime we go outside. I am impressed with the quality of these boots. The soles are heavy-duty and have great traction in the snow and on the ice. The hook and loop strap is reflective for nighttime use, and the soft, fuzzy lining is warm. We ordered a size 4 and they fit well (using the size chart as a guide), and even stay on our dog's very slender legs. I thought this would be an issue with only one strap, but they haven't slipped off yet.I did take off one star for the skinny piece of fabric that goes behind the paw. You have to hold it up and out of the way when putting these on, otherwise it bunches up beneath your dog's paw. Also, I would say these are best for Winter use or chilly Fall/Spring days. While the rubber soles would provide great paw protection on hot pavement, the fur lining would be much too hot for summertime use.
