The things I noticed upon unboxing and my daughter's use: - The skate pattern/design is good for young children, but not older children. - For children, I like the buckle design over the traditional full lacing system. - Due to the top buckle, the skates are tight around the ankles (good). This is better for a rec skater. - For a rec skate, the blades feel of good quality. - Easy to adjust the length of the boot.The real big issue here is the blade length will not match the boot size. If you're wearing the smallest size, the blade is way too long and will make it challenging to skate.Overall, it's a good beginner rec hockey skate.

These ice skates are adjustable which is great when you have a young child learning how to skate. They are supportive, well-made, and comfortable on her feet.

These are very durable and as advertised. My 6 year old kiddo wore them for skating lessons. Provides ankle support with clips (similar to ski boots). To secure skates lace up, secure velcro and then clip on top. They did arrive pretty dull so I had to get them sharpened, but that seems normal. As a beginner skate this seemed like a good value.

My youngest absolutely enjoyed the ice rink with these skates. They are comfortable and easy to put on and off. The blades themselves are more than durable for multiple seasons of use. Colors are nice and straps are durable.

Me and my daughter went to Canada and went ice skating at a park.My daughter was spinning and it did not leave a single mark on the blade .Comes with a rubber cover at the bottom of the blade.

The size of the blade is also too large for the size of the shoe. My novice daughter had a hard time balancing in it.
