Put it on my Yaesu VX-7R and tuned into the local repeater. Reception was a solid signal. The prior antenna would barely pick up the repeater that is only about 8 miles from my location.

Used as a D-STAR tactical vhf/uhf antenna. It has excellent receive and transmission coverage. A good value.Most of these antennas have female SMA connectors this one is for a male SMA connector.

I really like these, the antenna element is a bit more narrow making the antenna more compact than another brand I use. Gets a good signal into my local repeater.

I like this anrenna. I get pretty good reception and so far it has been pretty durable. I stuck the second antenna in my ruck figuring I would destroy the first one by now but so far it has held up to being tossed around and dragged. So far I am pretty satisfied.

Ran a SWR test on them and not good for a HT with 4:1 in the 2M portion. 70cm is where it needs to be 1.77 @ 420 Mhz and going down to 1.28 @ 428 Mhz and climbs to 1.44 at 448.5 Mhz. Not really a dual bander but rather a 70 CM antenna at least for mine.
