I read in a few places that the chamber and barrel of my CZ rifle was a very tight fit with standard 22 cal bore snakes. So, I bought both the 22 cal and 204 cal snakes for my new rifle. After trying the 204 cal snake first, I realized it was was plenty snug. It was so snug that it took a healthy grip on both the snake and the rifle to get the snake pass thru the barrel. I didn't dare try the 22 cal snake for fear it might get stuck and have the string break. This snake only had one brush instead of three as advertised for the viper.

I tried to use a .22 caliber cleaner however it got to hard to pull about half way into the bristles. Then I measured the bore and realized that .204 is considerably smaller than a .22. The .204 snake works great. it is a little loose on the 22 caliber so I engraved the brass tips with large numbers 22 or 20 so I don't get them confused. It would be great if all of the different calibers had some type of color code to identify each one. Probably would add a considerable cost though.
