This does exactly what it advertises it does. That is more that I can say for some others I have tried. I am using it in Auracast mode for my TV. It is easy to setup. It comes back up in the same mode when powered down. The Auracast has an encrypted or unencrypted option. I leave it unencrypted for the TV since there is nothing private transmitted. BTW, the manual does not tell you that the encryption password is 14 characters on the bottom of the unit. The additional support URL does not exist, but there is a forum on their website.I have this paired with Creative's Aurvana Ace Mimi earbuds. The sounds is incredible with no perceivable delay. I can switch my earbuds to the TV just by tapping to change to Auracast mode. Very convenient and easy. Seems to work throughout the house without any dropping. Best of all, this allows my wife or anyone else with Auracast capable headphones to listen to the TV at their own volume and much better clarity than most speakers. This is a much better alternative to the dual connect Bluetooth transmitters that don't really work right or simply. No headset limit here and the volume control is in the individual headset. This is a must for listeners with different hearing needs, which is a major reason my wife and I use headsets/earbuds. The other advantage is that the house remains quiet for anyone not listening.Last thought. We seem to be headed toward a society with a lot more wireless headsets and less bulky and expensive speakers. Headsets are portable, quieter, higher fidelity for the price, more private and more respectful of others. Sharing the same listening experience has been a challenge. But, Auracast solves that and this device does the job.

I needed a transmitter that would provide low latency while using my Sennheiser TW4 earbuds. The audio quality is great, good stereo separation, and excellent range. My measurement of latency using Auracast LC3 codec is 40ms which is good for me when watching TV. Easy to set up, digital hookup is easy with the cable supplied since it goes in the 3.5mm jack as the analog does. A 2 second button hold defeats encryption. All in all I’m very happy with this transmitter
