I bought this specifically so I could watch TV as the rest of my house goes to sleep. It works perfectly. I use my iPhone Airpods with it. The Bluetooth device is attached to my TV (older Samsung version) via the Optical cable included with the transmitter. It is very simple to set up.

Very good price for the features advertised, but the optical output does not work. The aux. output works fine, but sound quality using the aux. out of the adapter with my Hi-Fi audio system is not all that great. Optical or digital I/O typically produces much higher sound quality which was the main reason for choosing this device.

Hab schon am erste Tag ausprobiert. Funktioniert super, gute Qualität auch vom Klang. Am Anfang war ich mir nicht sicher, ob mein ältere LG Fernseh mit Bluetooth erkennt, hat doch sofort erkannt. Jetzt hab ich kein Problem, dass ich immer nach genauen Kabel für Handy, Fernseher oder anderen Bedarf suchen. Empfehlenswert.

Very sleek design compared to alternatives. Transmitter and receiver tested and working. Included all relevant cables in the box, AUX S/PDIF and co-ax as well as micro USB for power.Operating the device is perhaps too simple being limited to only one button and an indicator LED however pairing with the device was quick and painless. For the price this is a fair trade off and maintains the sleek appearance.Range and signal quality are what you'd expect from the Bluetooth standard, no complaints here.Switching between reciever and transmitter modes requires the use of a physical toggle which may be an important note. If you intend to use only one mode you could quite easily hide the device and connect to it as needed but if you're using both modes you'll need to have it somewhere accessible as the toggle switch is quite small and is located on the side of the side of the device.

Bought this to add two bluetooth earbuds to one device and because samsung tv only takes optical output (no 3.5 mm jack). Initially when i set it for samsung, earbuds gave a weird static noise. The fix is to go to sounds setting -> advanced setting -> for optical audio -> set digital audio output to PCM only.Other than that, the optical cable doesnt realy fit that snug, seems easy to pull out but it stays in place and does the job regardless.It doesnt have volume control and the tv remote doesnt control the volume either. I use the earbuds to control it since they have that feature.The first earbud always connects automatically. The second always needs some button pressing to connect but then again, for the price, not a big deal.

I bought this transmitter with hopes of using my Bluetooth devices from my TV. First one was kinda flaky. It didn’t work well right outta the gate. I decided within 3 days I needed to exchange it. It completely died day 4. The new one arrived, it worked well.. for 3 days. It completely died. Don’t have anything positive to say. My advice after having 2 die on me... Don’t purchase. They also took what felt like a long time to be delivered compared to other Amazon items.

Purchased item to listen to tv audio through earbuds. Product works great. Only deficiency was the optical audio cable included with this product. The cable was very flimsy and connectors would not stay connected to the tv or bluetooth device. Fortunately I had another optical cable that worked fine with this device. RCA plugs / cable are also included with this product but my TV set did not have analog audio out. Thus optical audio was my only option.

Not impressed. I got this to replace a single channel Bluetooth device I have on my tv. This one advertises dual simultaneous connections so I wanted to Bluetooth to two Amazon Echo devices at the same time. (I can currently get only one.) The pairing was simple and the speakers connected easily. However I immediately noticed a pretty high latency issue with the tv. And not only to the tv but to each of the speakers. The first speaker had about a .3 sec delay and the second speaker had at least a .5 delay (I’m estimating of course). One speaker was “meh” almost useable but pairing two devices at the same time was unusable.Second thing I noticed is this didn’t auto connect like my cheap $15 one does. I would have to manually push the button every time while my old cheap one all you do is turn the tv on and it auto connects. This one at twice the price doesn’t have that. Returned it after only 24 hours after receiving it.If you want to connect to one music source this would probably be ok. But two speakers I wouldn’t recommend it.
