Once u have this hooked up and working properly the sound quality is good there's no lag in the transmission. The battery life is really good on this I was able to use this for over a week on a single charge. It's easy to charge with a USB C cable just plug it in and boom it's charging. The size works out to it didn't feel huge on my metal detector. The only problem I had was connecting to my headphones. I subtracted a star for the complicated pairing, other than that it's a good little device.

Cool little product. wanted to turn my MP3 to wireless for some Bluetooth earbuds. This did the trick. Easy pair & setup, no connection issues so far. Do with the battery lasted a little longer, but nothing that would deter from the product itself. Works great, just what i needed it to do.

Worked great on three flights. Didn't work on the 4th flight. A 6 hour flight without my ear buds. No lights, won't charge.

It connected my iPod classic to my wireless headphones and other devices easily but the volume only goes up so far. I put my iPod at 100% and pressed the volume button on the dongle but it stayed the same. This would be a problem if I were to use it on an airplane or on a train or in any setting with background noise. So basically it's unusable outside of my home.

My guess is this device works well for some people. The problem is, it has a short flexible cable to transport the analog signal to and from the receiver/transmitter. Those small wires are pinched inside the connector and can fail very easily. Mine failed almost instantly but I was able to open it up and fix it. But it still fails from time to time so I'll probably solder in a heavier gauge wire. If you're not handy with electronics, or you would like something to last longer, maybe this isn't for you. But it was a pretty good price. Maybe it's worth taking a chance to save some money.

Easily connected my old iPod classic to my Phonak hearing aids. Turned off Bluetooth on my phone, which is connected to my hearing aids. Set my hearing aids on bluetooth receive, turned on the device and it connected in seconds. Volume control is great. Sound is as good as I get with wired connection. One problem I had was even though I turned this off an left it plugged in, it totally depleted the battery in my iPod overnight. I unplugged it from the iPod when not in use and it is fine. Just a caution. I almost gave this 4 stars because of that, but decided it may be an iPod issue and not an issue with this device. Anyway, highly recommended.

WOW!! I read reviews, was sceptical but hopeful. I have two ancient iPods..and purity air buds( Amazon purchase years ago). It works! Sound is great( I think quality is actually better than scullcandy wired earphones). Volume controls worked great.. I'm beyond psyched that this worked.First, if you have had item you are trying to pair with this paired with something else like your phone, turn Bluetooth off on phone for pairing process.Switch the little side switch to TX.. and I had to remove my earbuds first right then left from charging to enter pairing mode. I didn't see red tiny light flashing on top of transmitter because I didn't know to look for it but it's there, on top face in line with tx/ rx switch..it has to be plugged into device you are trying to to pair in case you're wondering. It flashes when pairing, and I can hear it through air buds say pairing.. bam!! Paired.. to be able to use my iPods without wires..it's awesome..I'm probably in a handful of people who have limited data plan on phone and love my iPods( shame on apple for discontinuing their best invention).I read other reviews, sorry they had issues, you can return it, but I had none, am very happy with this..

I bought this to use with Inflight Entertainment on airplanes. I did not want to spend a lot of money just to avoid a cord. My first try was a product that would not pair and there was no available support information either on the package or online. So, I stepped up a couple of dollars and bought this device. To my delight, it paired. I found it important to hold the device and the headphones close together. Especially on an airplane, there can be many BT devices nearby. Sometimes it pairs in seconds, sometimes up to a minute, so I learned to be patient. It is usually fairly quick. Once connected, I am satisfied with the sound quality and battery life.
