The rings are a lighter grade of metal than what I was expecting. I need them for a cockatoo cage. He's having great fun grabbing them and pulling them loose from the wire cage. The pliers have a very slight indentation so it's difficult to seat the ring corners and hold them until you get the rings wrapped around the wire. I guess this set is okay for light duty work but I'm glad there are alot of rings because I have to double and triple for the jobs I'm doing.

A needed tool for the average sausage maker. More rings than I will use in my lifetime. Solid pliers at an excellent buy!

I started refurbishing car seats with using the little red one also offered on Amazon. It worked good for the most part, but I wanted something easier on the hand like this one. It allowed me to finish the job and still have hands. So I am grateful and would buy again. The rubber on the handle is thicker and also stayed in place (unlike what I had before). But I knocked one star off because it doesn't grab the hog rings as well as my first one did. So more failures and retries, even though the small hog rings provided with this product are weaker. They do give you two different sizes however. It all depends your application.

This simple tool holds a hog ring, pulls two pieces of material together and closes the hog ring easily all while working in very tight spaces with limited reach and visibility. Reinstalled the leather to a car seat frame with this tool. Job looked nearly impossible before I tried it. Well worth every penny and then some.

This is the first time I've ever used one of these, and to be honest I was sort of dreading it, but when the upholsterer I typically use decided to go off the reservation and do what he wanted to do I was forced with having to manage the rest of my project at home. It was handy having the two sizes of hog rings, and I liked that the tool sprung to an open position and I didn't have to fiddle with it to load it. I can't really compare this to any other tools of the same nature, but like I said this one did when I needed it to do. No real drama.

This kit took a LOT of time off of me reupholstering my car seats. If you're a DIYer, this takes a small amount of practice, but absolutely recommend you watch a couple of videos and it's a fairly simple process!The pliers themself were sturdy and allowed me to apply plenty of force, and the ring construction was solid, and unlike the OEM rings the galvanized ones shouldn't have rusting concerns. Great for the price!

Esta pinza para anillos me costó menos que otra que se veía más sencilla. Para mi sorpresa tiene resorte (la otra no lo tiene) y eso facilita la sujeción de los anillos antes de cerrarlos. Al principio me costó un poco cerrar los anillos a la perfección pero después de unos minutos de práctica aprendí cómo hacerlo correctamente. Es un buen producto y además incluye grapas en dos medidas, 300 unidades de cada una. Lo recomiendo para amarrar resortes estilo Bungee y unir mallas para hacer jaulas. Me ha sido muy útil.
