these are great for pre-drilling wood. they last a long time as long as you don't let them get too hot.

The hexagonal drive, which caps the drill bit and fits into the drill chuck, twists free from the drill bit when drilling a hole and renders the product useless. This has happened several times on the smaller diameter drill bits. Although it drills well when working, it fails too easily and is not a reliable product.
