These Killer Force Drills (KFD) have a heavy duty 135 degree split point for self-centering and reducing thrust. Gold and black surface treated for use in stainless steel and other hard metal drilling. 1/4" Hex Shank can be used in quick change impact drivers. The length between the chucking slot on the shank to the end of the shank is standard 3/8".

I have used the ⅛” and 9/64” bits for several years and I love them more than any other hex shank bits I’ve found due to their durability and their longer length. I use the bits on very dense and difficult material (mostly ipe, oak, and other dense hardwoods, but also cement board and Sheetrock, etc.) and they hold up for these purposes at least as long as the dozens of other bits I’ve tried over the years.However, I more recently bought the 5/64” bits for similar uses but have primarily used them for drilling through fir trim into studs (so less taxing on the bit than ipe, etc.) and a third of them so far have pulled loose from the hex shank while in use which then necessitates finding a vice to snap on the end of the twist bit part to reverse out. This is a perplexing problem that I have never seen with any other drill bits, including those from this same manufacturer that are ⅛” or larger.

Drill bits as expected, reasonably priced, and arrived in a timely fashion. At least MOST of the 12 that were supposed to be in the package. The box arrived with the tape coming off all over, leaving holes where, I'm sure the missing bits escaped. The pasteboard pouch, that the bits come in, was open and the bits were all over the place, loose, in the box. So, I give it 4 of 5 stars for poor packaging.
