Did some research and for the price point, this is by far the sturdiest upright bass stand I’ve found! The first order I got came busted and bent, but after returning it, a replacement was sent and fast! It is exactly what I needed and I truly appreciate its ability to fold flat for loading in the vehicle when heading to play music.

It's a stand.It's sturdy.It lovingly supports my upright bass.It does not support large-mouthed bass though.Also not the best at emotional support.But if you have an upright bass and a spot in your house for a stand, this should be your choice.

Used to hold a 3/4 double bass, works very well and is easy to travel with. Holds the bass steady and kind of keeps the bass at a playable height if I choose not to hold the bass.

My luthier recently published a photo of someone's bass that had "fallen off a stand" and it was in pieces, which scared me to death. This stand is very stable and well made, it slopes back a good deal and has an extended foot out the back, so it doesn't let you position it close to a wall.

Great stand, as expected from Hercules.Sturdy & well-padded, folds up nicely, a slightly cumbersome for travel but it's a bass stand so... If you're looking at this, you're already carting around a whale of an instrument anyways :P Generally speaking though it folds up thin enough that it fits in the car without issues. Just load your whale first.Works great for keeping my 1939 Kay C1 in place when she's not being played. Works great on both hard flooring and soft carpet, no wobble.No complaints!

Esteticamente non male (lo tengo in sala) ma anche pratico per il trasporto dello strumento perchè si richiude occupando poco spazio. Abbastanza solido da affidargli il mio strumento, non mi ha deluso. Ben progettato con superfici morbide tipo spugna a contatto con lo strumento.

This double bass stand is solidly constructed. It fits a deep bass. An endpin can be extended approximately 6" while in the stand. The bass slips in and out of it reasonably fast or you can play the bass while it's in the stand, although it may not be exactly where you'd want it. Because of these attributes it is more useful than the Ingles. The shipping box is laughable and more or less crushed when it arrived but the stand inside was unaffected. It's a keeper.P.S. Still like the stand but the protective pads that the bass rests on wear out pretty fast.

Wir haben einen Bassständer gesucht, der mitwächst. Gegenwärtig steht ein Minibass darauf, stabil und dank der Isolierung gut gegen Kratzer geschützt. Schön ist der kleine einklappbare Haken an der Seite, an dem der Bogen Platz findet. Mit zwei Handgriffen lässt sich der Ständer gut zusammenlegen, sodass er auch gerne mit aufs Probenwochenende genommen wird.
