This review is for the MUSO Guitar Bass Hanger Stand, Solid Wood Bow Holder Mermaid Shaped for Display and Storage, 42 inches Height Anti-scratched and Anti-bump, Decorate Studios, Living room and Stage (Bamboo, 1)Versatile DesignSturdy ConstructionEasy InstallationThis is certainly a handsome guitar hanger. It has the look of a rather valuable piece of furniture.I normally keep my high-end Taylor acoustics in their respective cases in order to maintain the correct level of moisture, about 50% relative humidity. But when I'm playing them or recording in my home studio, I like to have them on hangers and ready to play. I have five Taylors, and I keep them set to different tunings depending on what I want to play. I will play a couple songs on one and then switch to another for a different sound. I generally jam on at least three guitars in a session. It's convenient to have three on stands and ready to play. So, I ordered this hanger as I already have two of the steel hangers and wanted a third for my sessions. This is an attractive piece as you can see in the photos. It was quite easy to put together and only took a couple of minutes. It seems solid and stable enough for my expensive guitars and I trust hanging them on this stand. I probably would not use it if my grandkids were here running around as they could bump it over. But I really like it when I want to practice a set or two and I'm by myself or with other (adult) musicians. It works for all of my guitars. Even my quite long Ibanez five-string bass fits on it. I especially like that it has padded areas where a guitar might bump the stand protecting the beautiful finishes of my entire guitar collection. I placed the following guitars on it with no problems: Gibson Les Paul Studio, Ibanez Talman TMB105 5-string Bass, Taylor 814ce, Taylor 816ce BE, Taylor 818e.Very pleased with this stand and look forward to many years of use.I definitely recommend the MUSO Guitar Bass Hanger from Amazon....

This instrument stand is stylish and sturdy. The one I got is made from Sapele, which is an African hardwood. Also available are stands made from Bamboo and Black Walnut. I chose the Sapele because its color appealed to me more than the other two. This stand is attractive enough that it would look good in your living room. The stand is very stable and holds the instrument securely. Unlike many other stands that support the instrument at the bottom of the body, this actually hangs the instrument from the headstock. The yoke that holds the guitar headstock is nicely padded to prevent marring or scratching. It can rotate from side to side to accommodate a Fender-style or conventional headstock. There is felt padding on the bottom of the upright in the area where the guitar body might come in contact with it.The stand was very well cushioned for shipment in its box. Assembly required only attaching the base to the upright with two socket head screws; a 4mm hex key is included. Then the yoke is attached to the upright; no tools are required for this. When I inserted one of the socket head screws, it did not quite align properly with the matching dowel nut in the upright. But it was simply a matter of rotating the dowel nut a little bit with the slot on the end.The only criticism I have of this stand is that the socket head screws only turned a couple of revolutions in the dowel nuts before they began to get tight. I think the screws could be a couple of millimeters longer. However, everything seems to be secure and holding properly.I tried this out with a Stratocaster, Precision Bass, and Epiphone acoustic. It held all safely and securely. There was not a lot of clearance with the bass, but it did fit okay. This stand will be getting a place of honor in my music room.

We are a musical household with a collection of both electric and acoustic guitars that we are very protective of. When it comes to stands, the typical black plastic ones are useful for quick switches between guitars, but I never feel completely confident leaving a guitar on them for extended periods. I got this stand because it looked sturdy and was made of solid wood. My goal was to have a stand that allows me to grab a guitar and start playing without the hassle of taking it out of the case and setting it up every time. This stand has exceeded my expectations. First, it arrived fully assembled, which was a pleasant surprise. The solid wood construction gives it a premium feel, and the design, with its long feet and curved stem, makes it incredibly sturdy. The stand holds the guitar securely, without any wobbling or shifting. I even tested moving the stand with a guitar on it, and I felt no risk of the guitar slipping or falling. Additionally, the prongs that hold the guitar neck are wrapped, preventing the guitar from sliding off. I’ve been able to pick up my guitar, play, and return it to the stand smoothly, with no fear of tipping it over or the guitar slipping out of place. Overall, I highly recommend this stand to anyone who wants to protect their investment and have their guitar readily accessible for spontaneous playing sessions. It's worth every penny!
