Fit my needs perfectly. Quality tool and coils. Just make sure you buy a quality bit to use to drill out for the tap along with a tap handle.

I used this M14 x 1.5 Heli-Coil kit to repair the ripped out threads on a 2006 Honda Civic passenger side engine mount. The mount boss with the bolt/stud holes is part of the timing cover, and the long bolt, as well as the stud both ripped out the aluminum threads when they were removed to gain access for a water pump replacement. This kit filled the bill, as far as the repair goes. Note that the long bolt hole in this application required two inserts, in order to fully re-thread the hole. I had to trim off two coils worth of thread that were standing above the surface of the mount boss after the second insert was fully seated against the first one, sitting lower in the hole. A pair of diagonal cutters was able to do this without issue. In total, I used three of the six inserts that are include with this kit to fully repair the hole threads.Improvement wise, I would like to see the required 9/16" drill bit included in the kit. Preferably with a 3/8" or 1/2" cut down shank. As it stands now, the kit is just the tap,the installer, and six inserts. So if you don't already have the needed 9/16" drill bit, then you will have to buy one at additional expense. Also, it would be nice to see either a square or hex bolster on the top of the coil insert install tool. Currently it only has a sliding T-handle that creates problems in tight, limited access areas. A square or hex bolster on top of the install tool would allow you run the insert in with a tap handle or a socket and ratchet, with an extension, if needed, for deep or recessed holes.

No information was provided on amazon. It is a M14X1.5 REPAIR KIT.If anybody just want use a M14X1.5 metric tap to do some slightly minor repair of the thread, don't use this kit. The tap in this kit is at least a M15.
