This rack is stable in terms of weight distribution and support but it has some design flaws and is overpriced.Like other reviewers noted, the wrench it comes with is the wrong size. I also noticed some of the holes were drilled overly large for the hardware so perhaps they switched to smaller bolts and never changed the wrench size to match. Who knows. The instructions have only pictures. There's no information on which bolts or pins go where so you need to figure that out or watch the video they have in the item listing.Instead of bolts to hold the arms to the vertical posts, they use quick release pins. Why they would make a rack like this with security loops on the arms when they have quick release pins holding is beyond me. Whose idea was that? The arms also fit loosely because they use these quick release pins. Poor design. I replaced them with proper fitting bolts to make the rack more stable. It's nice that they included both adjustable feet and casters. The casters lock nicely (only 2 of the 4 have locking mechanisms). They are really small however. Not sure how functional they would be on decking where you have a quarter inch between boards. On smooth concrete, they work great. The framing, minus the arms, bolt together snugly and are properly distanced for my two kayaks. The legs are proper length to keep the rack stable so there is no risk of it becoming top heavy and falling over...at least with the 70 lbs of weight I have on it.Overall, I have a hard time recommending this rack. It's $50 more than the one on my wall and I don't think it's worth that to have one rolling around with wobbly arms. Perhaps if it came with better instructions and hardware.

I was impressed with how simple it was designed and how quick you can assemble it, especially if you have some sockets/drill adapter and open wrenches you can get it done in minutes. The one caveat is that you must either swap out the quick release pins for bolts if you plan on using the locking loops or else you need to lock the arms to the vertical posts in some other fashion. It would be trivial to unlock the quick release arms and steal your gear locked to the arms. But other than that the ability to move the arms to different heights if you tend to store different kayaks regularly is easy and quick with the provided pins. The castors are also well made and everything about this seems higher quality than I had hoped, it seems like it could really handle some heavy weight. People complaining about price haven't shopped around, I haven't seen anything this good at this price.

Finally can get the two kayaks up off the garage floor! We purchased a couple of kayaks to enjoy some time on the water, but they've just been sitting on the garage floor. It's nice to get them up off the floor so we can be more organized and tidy. And yet it's still easy to load them up and get out on the water.

This is fantastic 2 level kayak rack, which we use to store our inflatable kayaks in the basement. It keeps them off the ground and easily mobile. It went together easy enough, although I had to use my own socket/wrench as the provided stamped sheetmetal wrench immediately bent out of shape and was unusable. Its painted (powder coated?) so it should be fairly weather resistant, but I cannot report on that as I keep it in a dry basement. The finish is high quality, and looks great.

Very simple to assemble, parts are clearly labeled to follow instructions. If you've ever put anything at all together following picture instructions, these ones are just fine. The included 'wrench' is in fact useless, it did fit on the first nut I put it on but simply stretched open as soon as I put any torque on it. That being said, a 12mm wrench will have you up and running in minutes. The rack looks nice and holds 2 10 foot angler kayaks without a hitch. I feel the price is a bit on the high side for as basic as it is, though it does do what it's meant for and is much nicer than having the boats just lying about or leaning against the wall.
