DO NOT BUY FOR SWINGS. This is bad quality. The eye bolt dropped out of the bracket while my 10yr old niece was swinging on our yoga swing. Luckily we placed pads under the swing and she fell straight down and didn't injure herself. Obviously a 10yr old is well below the weight limit these are touting - just a cheaply made bolt that got lose and stripped after a few months of being used as a swing mount.

this is a great option for anyone who has beams in a basement and limited space to hang the hardware for a yoga hammock. it is sturdy and holds so well. it was a breeze to hang up.

The eyelet pull out of the clamp dripping a 125lbs Muay Thai bag on the floor. The threads were gone on the eyelet and the hole was now larger and also had damaged threads. This could have hurt someone or damaged something in my home.

I used this in my basement on a 5.5 inch I beam. As the description states, this is the largest beam it will fit. I wanted to use it on a larger beam, but it was too small. I am using this to hang some large backpacks, so the weight is fairly light, and it isn't bouncing around like a punching bag would be.Positive+ Once installed, it seems very sturdy.+ The include hook and spinner are great and work well. They also are sturdy and I don't foresee any issue with them.Neutralo On the 5.5 inch beam, the mount only overlaps the beam a little (about 1/4 inch). It works and seems sturdy, but is a little close for my comfort. Based on the design of the brackets, where will always only be a little overlapping the beam.
