HDMI to VGA adapter works great. I am happy that I can use my old monitor (only has a VGA input) with my new computer (has HDMI and DP outputs) in a dual monitor setup now with this adapter. This adapter is seamlessly integrated into my setup, supports the full resolution of my monitor and didn't require any drivers.

If you happen to have an old monitor lying around with only VGA and a newer laptop with only HDMI, this is a very affordable way to add an external monitor to the laptop. That was my situation and this adapter does the job very well. It has been solid and reliable so far. If that changes I’ll update this review.
