The product works fine as described by the seller but the price is high.I paid 320 and I don't think this should be more than 200. The connector quality from the VGA side is Cheap plastic it should be hard plastic or rubber material if you drop the cable by the change the VGA connector will break down easily.Length is Good Enough.

Perfectly does the work., Just go for it.At the same time you can attach multiple input, 1 HDMI and 1 VGa.and you can connect to source to the monitor and you can switch from monitor setting..I ordered because, I had two laptop, 1 attached to docking station and one didnot had thunderbolt port, so wanted to attach via HDMI, so, problem solved,Office PCs I can attach via HDMI connected through thunderbold to docking station and docking station to monitor and then my personal PC attached directly to the monitor

This direct hdmi to vga converter is not going to work, no matter where you buy from. You need to buy a hdmi to vga converter and a vga to vga cable to work.

I wanted to connect an old monitor as a second screen to my new laptop. The cable worked fine to duplicate my laptop screen / convert from HDMI to VGA video but Windows 11 software would not recognize a second display connected. I will have to buy a new monitor to have dual displays.

Please do not buy.The cabel was not working properly since it arrived would give flickering on screen every now and then so I thought its alright because its manageable but now it completely stopped working and it haven't even been two months.

Wanted another screen to work with and after going to Walmart and staples got nothing I came here .. I looked on all the ones here so many but finally decided to get these because of the curve on the HDMI cord my IT dept sent some to connect the second monitor but they were square and fat! Couldn't fit in the laptop so thank you Amazon I got what I wanted!! I will say if you get an error about the screen... When setting up go into advanced settings to put down to the recommended.. it works!! TY

Iām not very tech savvy but I will tell what I know. I have a new computer with only an HDMI connection for a monitor. My current monitor is old but too good to replace at this time. My older monitor only has a what I think is called a VGA connection so I needed a way to connect VGA to HDMI. I chose this cable and initially thought my monitor was not as good as it should be. But to solve the problem, I went into Settings, Display, and Display Resolution, and set the resolution to 1440 x 900 and now my monitor is perfect for me. This cable is great and worked well for me.
