Easy to Install
Setting the Codes
You need set the same DIP switch codes on the remote to match the receiver inside your ceiling fan before using.
- Look the DIP switches inside the original remote with the battery cover off, the DIP switches hidden behind the slot for the battery as picture shows.
- Slide the switches in the new remote to match the same pattern as the original remote.
- Replace the battery in the new remote and things should work.
Note: The default setting is 0000, and it is not recommended.
- This remote use 2 AAA 1.5V batteries(NOT INCLUDE) for power supply.
- D/O Switch: Switch the mode between dimmable(D) and no-dimmable(O).
- ℃/℉ Switch: Switch the remote displays between Celsius temperature(C°) and Fahrenheit temperature(F°).

It's a great remote, the only thing is, if you don't have the. Reverse button on the fan, you will have to turn off the whole fan completely with the remote, and then after hold on the main power button for 4 seconds, let it blink Twice and then tap the fan button five times it seemed to work for me... good luck... other than that it's a great remote.

Very strange that the control units did not come with mounting brackets for the remote included with my Windward IV Ceiling Fan.However, these brackets fit the remotes (I bought two fans) perfectly.

Really nice quality receiver and remote but not a good replacement for my cfr-3d non dipswitch that was on my harbor breeze ceiling fan so I’ve had to find a different replacement . I was sad…looked forward to all the nice features. I gave it 4 stars cause it wasn’t universal
