Hausen Sillcock Valves are manufactured from brass for greater durability and outdoor use. All sillcock valves are compatible with standard garden hoses with a

¾-inch male hose thread (MHT) connection. Some feature a ¼-turn, steel handle that allows water to be turned on or off with a simple 90-degree turn. For those larger projects Hausen Sillcock Valves are available in five and ten-piece contractor packs.

The flange is too small. The screws would go in right next to the pipe so there would be nothing for them to grip onto. The threads are too short, much shallower than the hose threads.

Solder won't stick; tried 3 kinds, with 3 kinds of flux, after a good sanding/polishing, both the copper and brass ends, but solder won't get taken up into the joint. Testing the joints, water sprayed everywhere, soaking me and the room. Nightmare! The heat from the torch was too much for the teflon seal, and it deformed, so wouldn't shut off fully either. They should pay you to take these off their hands!

Nice quality valves price comparable to market couldn’t get low boy quick enough and shipping took longer then had hoped but all worked out prefer quicker shipping in future even if cost a little more

These make great outdoor hose faucets! I sweat them onto risers for outdoor hose and irrigation purposes. They are machined nicely.
