Simplify your plumbing and home improvement projects with the Eastman frost free spigot. Composed of heavy duty corrosion free brass, these spigot valves feature a large wheel handle, a notched flange for easy installation, and are equipped with a vacuum breaker that prevents backflow to protect your water against impurity. The outside faucet valve will provide a source of water to areas of a structure that are subject to freezing, and is ideal for use with new installation or to replace an existing sillcock. Outdoor spigots feature a maximum pressure of 125 PSI, and a maximum temperature of 160 degrees F.

Eastman's 12" Frost Free Sill Cock with Vacuum Breaker will provide a source of water to areas of a structure that are subject to freezing. This sill cock is constructed out of heavy-duty brass for strength and durability. The notched flange allows stable installation on siding. The vacuum breaker feature protects against water siphoning back to contaminate the potable water system.

Great value compared with what I looked for at Lowe’s. Eastman is a company that’s been around for over a hundred years. I had no clue that they made these freeze proof sillcock water faucets. It was half the price I paid for the one that I bought seven years ago. This one is all metal even the cap that goes over the siphon valve is metal.

This freeze resistant facet seems well made, smooth valve with no leaks, and if used properly, will drain and not freeze in the coldest weather.

It took me a month or so to install the valve. When I finally did, it leaks out of the valve stem. I would prefer to have a rebuild kit to replace the valve stem and seals.

When turning this tap off it doesn’t have a definitive off position. I worry it will break if I keep turning it to closed to stop the drips. Other than that is as expected.

The 6 inch length worked well to attach to a 4x4 wooden post, with ample extension on one end. Metal construction shows high quality.

It seems to be good quality, from the handle to the valve, etc.The longer you can get the better, in my case I didn't have a lot of clearance from the wall so the 6 inch option was perfect. These shouldn't freeze as long as you leave nothing connected to it in the winter, and also make sure the the hole that brings this from outside to inside is well insulated and sealed. I use spray foam and silicone, not sure if that's the best thing to use but it works for me.I highly recommend using an FIP fitting, not the sweat option with a faucet like this. That makes it so you can more easily replace this down the road if needed (since you can hold the inside pipe and unscrew it from the outside).Also, if you sweat this you run the risk of melting the rubber seal inside.
