This activated, shows a network connected, but does not work at all. No data / internet connection. Had to purchase a different one while in Japan.

This digital sim card has clear instructions that you can follow to activate your data on a trip to the East. Although I have not activated it yet, I've used one similar to this before while I was in Thailand, and it worked great. I have high expectations for this one too, but will update everyone once I've made the trip and how it worked.

I got this for an upcoming trip to Asia. I received it as an instruction card with a QR code. The instruction is clear, precise, and easy to understand. I appreciate that this eSim does not require registration prior to use. It also has more than a year of expiration allowing you to plan for your trip and it's use far in advance. This is only for data and should be quite fast at 5G/4G, There is no top-up or recharge option so make sure to get one that will cover your entire trip. My trip is not for a few more months so I have not used it yet. So far I am very impressed and glad to have found this for my trip.
