I used it on the inside for a 2 steps entry. Solid and works well for older folks who need a hand hold.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is that it needs heavier mount hardware. After the initial I had to remount it with bigger screws and anchors in order to keep it from loosening up. I mounted it on a brick wall. The original hardware would probably be OK if used on a wooden wall, don't know. Aside from that one issue it's a good product that works as designed.

This is the perfect addition to our porch steps. It is sturdy and it was easy to install. I used 2.5 “ exterior screws instead of the provided screws for added stability.

Overall decent product for the money. Screws and anchors missing, but not a big deal as I was attaching to a wooden 4x4. We shall see how it holds up!
