This replacement ceiling fan remote control kit works for most 110V 3-speed AC ceiling fan, compatible with Hampton Bay, Hunter, Harbor Breeze, Home Decorators Collection, Honeywell, Prominence Home, Minka-Aire and many more.
Universal ceiling fan remote control kit with light dimmer & 3-Speed.
This remote includes a walk away time delay feature that allows you to turn the light off but still have light as you leave the room.
Note: Not recommended for use with hugger style ceiling fan.

Easy to Set Up the Remote Control
1. Set the DIP number "1234" on the transmitter and receiver to the same position.
2. The separate dial "0/D" is used as a dimming option, if the bulb supports dimming, select "D". Otherwise select "0"
3. The default settings is 0000, and it is not recommended.
Tips: Remote control's DIP switches are in the battery compartment (they are hidden behind the slot for the battery itself).
Please Note
1. If you have PULL CHAINS SWITCH, before using the wireless remote control, use the PULL CHAINS SWITCH to turn the wind speed to maximum and turn the fan light on. Only in this way can the PULL CHAINS SWITCH and wireless remote control be used together.
2. If you have multiple ceiling fans in your home, please make sure that the PIN code settings are different between them, otherwise it is likely that the transmitter next door activates the ceiling fan in your bedroom. This will cause the ceiling fan to turn on strangely while you sleep.
Easy to Install
1. Remove ceiling fan canopy from the mounting bracket
NOTE: Remove power from the circuit.Otherwise power can cause serious injury or death.

Disconnect existing wiring between ceiling fan and supply in electrical junction box
2. Setting same the codes on the remote control and receiver
NOTE: The code used by the transmitter and receiver must be exactly the same, otherwise remote controller will not work.
16 different frequencies that can be set for the receiver and the transmitter.
(0000, 0001, 0010, 0100, 0110, 0101, 0011, 0111, 1111, 1110, 1101, 1011, 1001, 1010, 1100, 1000)
The default settings is 0000, and it is not recommended.
3. Installing receiver in ceiling fan
WARNING: Remove power from the circuit. The electrical wiring must meet all local and national electrical code requirements. The electrical source and fan must be 110~120 volt, 60Hz.
The receiver wires are labelled, and the wires all have the correct color codes. Make connections as follows, using the wire nuts suppliied.
4. Install a 12V battery
Install a 12V battery (NOT INCLUDE in the Package) in the remote, and you can control your fan now.

Remote control & receiver exactly as described. There ended up being an issue with the unit I ordered, late within the warranty period. I contacted the company through Amazon and they were very helpful/responsive, excellent customer service! Everything works great. I would definitely purchase items from them again.

The remotes work but the receivers either don't work or they fail over time. These are not worth the price and definitely not worth the hassle.Background: I installed these remotes on three ceiling fans over the past three years. They all worked great at first but then one of them stopped working last year. I replaced that one and the replacement worked. Then another unit failed this year. I bought a replacement, installed it, and it's not working. I've tried three remotes (with the correct PIN settings) on this receiver and it's not working.I gave this a 2 instead of a 1 because I like the design and the receiver is really compact. I just wish they actually worked.

This was easy to install in my Hampton Bay ceiling fan that mysteriously just stopped working. It works as good as the original except now I don't have to walk over to the switch every time I want to change the speed or turn on/off the light or dim the light. I marked it down one star because it doesn't come in white. There is a larger type that comes in white, but this smaller one only comes in black. It does not look nice on a white wall next to the white switches.

We needed these parts for a ceiling fan in our den. We did not want to have to replace the fan because we have the same fan in our kitchen. These two rooms are actually one long room, which is why we didn’t want to replace the fan. With info off of the fan we were able to find the parts we needed. The parts arrived as expected and the parts fit and worked perfectly. Our problem is solved!

I recently bought a Harbor Breeze fan and its lowest setting was too fast as comparable with my other fans in the house and you could hear a subtle but annoying hum. After installing this remote, the lowest setting is now more in line with my other fans and there is no more hum! I chose this particular remote because it uses the same controller as two other fans I have which have worked well (but lightly used) for almost 20 years. Also, you do not have to have the antenna wire sticking out from the canopy like other brand remotes seem to suggest. Remote worked well even at 20-30 ft away from the fan. For grins, I tried the remote with my other fans and it worked with them as well, provided I set the DIP switches the same (but of course I set it to a unique setting afterwards). It also dims the dimmable LED lights that came with the fan.
