i have many of these you want to screw into hard serface or stud for best results i rand i 1 by 6 across the wall ankered into the studs with many of them

The actual guitar hanger are awesome. Great quality and excellent build. BUT the hardware that comes with it ( screws and anchors ) are PURE GARBAGE!! Throw them away and go to your local hardware store and buy good quality anchors. It makes the job waaay easier !!!

Very sturdy. I didn't use the little plastic drywall insert and screw. I located a stud and screwed right into that. No worries about it pulling out.

I was nervous to buy these, as I always put my guitars on stands, and have never mounted them on a wall. They are expensive, and a fall from the height I mounted them at would surely break them. However, I have had no troubles. They are totally sturdy and have held my guitars perfectly. They are also bendable, but stay strong in whatever position you put them in. Very simple installation.

I like that there is no neck size for this hook , like the one my friend bought for less , and her guitar looks swinging between the wall and the curved Hook.This one keeps the guitar close to the wall but locks perfectly by the curved hook
