The wood plate has an appealing appearance, as does the metal hangar arm. The install was about normal for hangars requiring drywall anchors, with one important caveat - the supplied plastic anchors were the wrong size for the screws supplied, which is worse than useless. The screws were not long enough to lock into the compressive end portion of the sleeves, so they free-spun instead of tightening, and that allows the whole unit to pull out and almost fall under any load. I had to remove the installed sleeve carefully to not cause extra damage to the drywall. I would have docked more than one star, but the metal blade anchors supplied worked great. If you get this unit, discard the plastic anchors, and just use the metal blade ones, or the huge screw ones if you prefer that type.

Securely holds your guitar. The fork portion rotates, so if your instrument is asymmetrical, it's compensated for and it won't hang crookedly. A great feature. The fork is coated in smooth, grippy rubber, so you know it's got a good hold and won't damage the finish on your guitar. You also get a handful of picks and a pick holder. All around a great deal.

These were for the husband and he was very happy with them. We have had them on the wall now with guitars in them for a few months. They are sturdy, well made and holding some heavier guitars. Easy to install, husband said yes he would recommend.

As a new guitar player, I wanted to keep my guitar close but not in the way. I found a perfect spot on the wall near my desk. It was suitable out of the way but close enough to grab it when I needed a break. I found this guitar hanger on Amazon and immediately placed the order.The hanger is a quality hanger that is as functional as it is good looking. Everything is provided to make installation straight forward and easy - hanging kit consisting of wall anchors and screws, instructions, and a wall template to identify and mark the appropriate drill locations for the anchors. I grabbed my drill and tool kit and had the hanger installed within 20 minutes.My guitar fits and hangs nicely in the cradle. They mention keeping the cradle a bit loose, which I did, and it works great to make it easy to both hang it up and retrieve it. The hanger feels solid on the wall, and I have no worries about the guitar having an accident. The included picks are a nice touch, but the star of the act is definitely the guitar hanger.Overall, I'm very happy with this hanger. At under $8 ($7.99 at the time of this review), it's a great price for keeping your guitar stored securely but easily accessible.

This wall mount bracket is really nice. The real walnut wood base and hanger were exactly as pictured, and both were of sturdy high-quality material. Some real care had been put into this simple accessary. But what seriously impressed me was the installation kit and instructions. I am very handy and would have had no trouble installing it with nothing included, but instead it came with three options for wall ankers and a handy little guide describing exactly when to use each. It even had a sticker/template to use to help you get your holds spaced and lined up perfectly. Installation was

I have a few different guitar hooks in this style from different manufacturers, and this one is as good as any of them. The wood block is well-cut and stained, the hook itself is strong and covered in plastic (so it won't scratch or nick your guitar). It comes with mounting screws & anchors for drywall, wood, or concrete, so you're covered for whatever sort of wall you have.There were some nice touches that made this a better deal than some other hooks I have purchased - it came with pilot stickers for easy installation, and others I've bought did not. It also came with a bonus item: six guitar picks and a stick-on pick holder.The instructions were nice looking, but had numerous typos. I understand these companies are producing these things as inexpensively as they can, but it's just kind of funny what corners they'll cut. I don't think you lose to much clarity, but this is one respect in which the product could be improved. If you absolutely don't know wht you're doing, you might want to look online for more coherent instructions. If you've installed something like this before, it's all common sense.
