el detector de gases viene sin certificado de calibracion, con lo cual no vale para nada y es un riesgo SU USO

Seems to work okay. Dont have any way to bump test it and verify the readings. Not the same in the hand feel of quality as higher cost units ive used in the oil patch.

I'll start with the only two cons I can think of for this unit: It is not MSHA-certified, and it really should be. It does not detect CO2 levels, and it really should.Every open-air test I can throw at it, from breathing on it to drop O2 levels, generating hydrogen sulfide gas outdoors in a woulfes bottle and setting it near the output, letting pure O2 from my welding tank flow over it to raise O2 levels, letting acetylene from my other welding tank flow over it to check for LEL, and putting it near one of my dirty-burning propane torches for Carbon Monoxide all made the gas meter respond, and respond pretty quickly. The alarm is loud, the vibration could maybe be a bit stronger, and the LEDs are bright enough for the typical use case - lower-lighting areas of industry and mining.Operation is as simple as turning it on and letting it go through its boot cycle. Seriously. You don't need to play with anything. Wait a few seconds as the stats fly by, and you'll be greeted with a readout for all 4 sensors. That's all the functionality you need, and there are password-protected settings (that you aren't given the code to) to make adjustments (for calibration techs only.) You can cycle through various views but in reality that starting screen is the one your life is going to depend on. You can do other things with it, but I only bought this for gas detection while in action, so I won't be using the other features. You may find those useful and functional.I do not see the sensors as being replaceable, they appear to be long lasting electronic ones instead of chemical cartridges, so I would absolutely recommend that you have a company calibrate this unit yearly as the manufacturer recommends. That way, this unit will continue to reliably keep you safe from gas dangers in your work environment.

Updated review: I had an issue with the O2 sensor where the meter went into alarm. After getting the instructions for recalibrating that sensor, the unit is usable again.

I have only had a chance to test this in benign environments, but it seems to work well. I tested with methane, CO, and O2. Was not able to test with H2S. Response time is a matter of seconds both in rising and falling concentrations of gases. Tested at home and in a large shop. I don't have the equipment to test for accuracy, but it does alarm in environements where it should. One thing to note is that this device has 4 sensing ports on the face of it, so it's best for ambient monitoring. It doesn't have a "nose" that you can point at something or into some place to see what's there. Not a bad price point for what you get.One other review mentioned CO2. This device tests for carbon monoxide, not carbon dioxide, so this would be of no use in a horticultural environment - unless you want to measure oxgen content.

We've been testing this gas monitor around our house for a short while now and love having it around for moments when we're questioning any gas leaks, especially from our old furnace in the basement that we're keeping a close eye on especially during these super cold months. It comes in an awesome little hard shell case that has a handle and 2 clips on either side to keep it closed. The gas monitor is inside along with a charging cable. Shame it's not USB-C but it's not a huge issue. The monitor itself is incredibly easy to operate and quite foolproof. A power/select button in the middle, along with an up and down navigation. The screen is clear and easy to read and allows for quite a bit of customization/selection between the various options and detection modes. I am yet to actually detect anything, which is a very good thing, but I have no doubt that this will alert us loudly just by how loud the selection beeps are when navigating the menus.Awesome gas monitor overall! I have no doubt of its abilities to actually detect gas because of the huge sensors that are present on it, as well as the array of features and options built into it.

This feels like a very valuable piece of kit to have on hand. It comes in it's own box which makes it feel very expensive. We've tested it out and it's relatively simple to use and to follow the instructions. Very quick response time as well for readings.

This gas detector is a tough, reliable tool that helps keep you safe at work, in clean rooms, or other environments. It picks up on carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, oxygen levels, and explosive gases in just half a second and warns you with sound, lights, and vibration if something’s wrong. It’s easy to use—just clip it to your belt or keep it nearby, and it does the work for you. In clean rooms, it adds an extra layer of safety by making sure oxygen levels stay right and no harmful gases go unnoticed. It’s useful if you work with chemicals or need extra protection in certain environments. The case is very tough and built to last, so it can handle rough environments. The battery life is solid, so you don’t have to charge it constantly. The only small downside is that the screen turns off quickly, which can be annoying when you want to check the readings often.Overall, this is a reliable, well-built gas detector that’s easy to carry, simple to use, and gives you quick warnings when needed.

This is very easy to use and accurate! When we do welfare checks on about 4 elderly couples locally we take two different detectors - this one is our new favorite. We do these welfare checks so that we don't have to worry about any gas leaks or other bad "air" that will cause people we love to be sick or worse during the cold weather here in north Missouri. Every winter we have at least one failed gas connection sadly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 👍😁👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a well-designed, easy to use gas detector that is primarily designed to be worn in situations where the user needs to be warned if they are in an unsafe gas situation. The manual is well-written and covers a wide range of parameters including the ability to re-zero, to calibrate, and to set alarm values, but for the most-part the factory-default settings were all I needed (See photo of factory default settings). Some of the menus are even password protected to allow only designated users to vary the parameters of gas detection. I particularly like the 12 hour battery life and the ability to recharge the battery with a USB-A cable (though one will most-likely need to use the included cable since the connector on the device end is not USB-C). I also like that it comes with a convenient carrying case.I ordered this detector to be able to test heating parameters in my van-camping set-up. I own a small, propane gas heater similar to this one: https://www.amazon.com/Mr-Heater-F232000-Indoor-Safe-Portable/dp/B002G51BZU/ref=sr_1_5?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.k6wacd0ySMiP5x4Whh1TM9dWCEzpnpB1sHbOcKl5mDGx0nLKkKdO8BRz_MPm_cev9q2eXBLWvQ6NlHEXtPLJzFYIilY3adEPS2hqgmY9rYJDZDv-DgtX1-iew5vyrl8W4wVQRURHDaPYwb2fmbvX4Q-NrRtzL9mmmgVDD34eqkLelmk4VEERikDpvtKMEeMu8mZ7TdR1SzPXi5vJDdc7C3YWWZP-PnjrUBfYeA4-BsaPztf1-aCZ32X2NRGFRS_h8X4Eraeo82jA5ej1vPldRn98fyBnrrI0RMWTU6sCKCzkhd2-uqcBMfTk-STb221SvNy-IQP3mbCR9uTyNaJqG9j8OOWOPcmaVJpmD0kEN0yARwlX50K3v30js7IeT1zLgIQUGHqe1Dj7v7ieQrssf1nlkkaBFYDQ-_fG7hcIRnvjc3zFmGUeHI_naTh-hf9r.HFUbwFtnbtpkClnhOaQrllhTfmks72xaic0xeUEPlCc&dib_tag=se&keywords=portable%2Bcamping%2Bheater&qid=1734645552&sr=8-5&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.9fe8cbfa-bf43-43d1-a707-3f4e65a4b666&th=1 but was not sure if I had worked out a safe ventilation arrangement.I used the gas detector to measure Oxygen and Carbon Monoxide percentages, with my ventilation system in active (fans running) or passive (vents open without fans), as well as to measure the gas concentrations when the heater is on high vs. low output. The gas detector was very easy to use (basically it comes with factory-presets that allow one to easily measure safe gas concentrations). I particularly liked that it was easy to clip the detector in different spots (Front to back or High to Low) in my van and see if the quality of the air was affected in different places.I learned a couple of interesting, though not completely unexpected things. First, my air quality was much better with my ventilation system in active mode (fans on). Secondly, I found that the oxygen levels varied enough from floor to ceiling level that I could trigger the low oxygen alarm if the detector was near the ceiling and the ventilation fans were off. I also discovered that my heater, when run on low or very low output settings produced significantly higher levels of carbon monoxide (due to incomplete combustion). One thing to note, the manual indicates that the sensor Life is 2 years, and the unit has a warranty of three years according to the Amazon page.
