What is Radon?
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that comes up from the ground, odorless, colorless, tasteless. It is most easily released through granite, brick sand, cement and gypsum etc., especially natural stone which contains radioactive elements.

Just take the battery tabs out and wait upto 24 hours for the first set of readings. Make sure its 5 feet above the ground and 5 feet away from the windows and vents.

I just received it today and tried it right away. I’ve been searching for this on Amazon for a while and wanted to find the best deal. Once I pulled the tabs out of the battery, it automatically calibrated. The screen is very clear and easy to read, and it’s simple to understand. It’s much more affordable than hiring a professional with their kit to do the testing.

Packaged really well and came with batteries already. Seems to be working. I'll update after it's been in my basement for 1 week. This will give me peace of mind for potential radon exposure over short and long periods of time.

Bought it to test basement radon reading. It gave the same result that I got from radon inspection. I know I can depend on it going forward and will not need to pay for radon inspection.
