My situation is specific.Have a damaged motorcycle heater grip.And didn't want to replace the group just yet.So I use this type to wrap around there damaged handle grip.It has been used for about 4months. The grip has to heat a function. So the tape experience freezing cold to up to 110F heating.So far this tape did not lose adhesion to the motorcycle grip.With the way that it is performing I am able to extend the life of a damage group for a few more years.

Its doesn't feel cushy at all: its smooth. there's no adhesive on it: its not sticky. If you put any tension on it at all it stretches thin like a rubber band. The weirdest part of it is the moment it overlaps, its glued together, trying to unfurl it you'll wind up tearing it off the roll. Once you've let it touch itself, there's no going back. its tacked, hard, became as one. by the end of the wrap all you have to do is let the end touch the rest of itself and snip off the leader flap, and you're done. no tape is needed, no way is it unraveling itself. Time till tell how durable it is, but its the weirdest over grip tape I have never used.

This stuff is really awesome. I have a fancy guitar stand, but the foam has worn out and my Tele was actually being held up by the back of the tuner. I put several wraps of this tape around each side and it worked to perfection. It bulked them up, is cushioned, and even looks professional. Way way better than electrical tape. They're not joking when they say it's self fusing. It does not feel the least bit sticky just touching it, but it holds on hard once it touches itself. I can imagine I'll have a lot of uses for this stuff going forward.

Great grip. Good cushion. Easy to apply. Stays on well. Works great on walker handles!

This product works very well in applications where the grip is static, not moving up or down the wrapped shaft, like a hammer. When the grip moves, like on a rake, the edge of the tape will roll, and the tape will eventually roll up into a wad.

I wrapped a walking cane with it, had plenty of material left over, and now the cane when stood against a table or chair isn't as prone to sliding off. I stretched the tape slightly as I applied it to the cane, and the overlapping areas adhered very well.

I got this to reward a walking cane handle. It was easy to install and the tape stuck to itself very well. In the short term at least, it works great.Time will tell if it lasts a long time, but I suspect it should.
