Paired with thick tape made for very thick bars that were a definite improvement on my Gravel bike.

Great product, but it stuck to the cardboard packaging. Spent 30 minutes trying to peel the cardboard from it.

The pads are fairly hard plastic and provide very little actual padding. They don't feel like any "gel" I've ever seen before. Gel pads do not conform to the shape of the handlebars very well. The bar tape doesn't stick to these gel pads like the handlebars, so the tape shifts around and gaps appear where the tape is supposed to overlap. I'd have been better off going with the 3.2 mm padded bar tape, or double wrapping my handlebars.

Nice concept, but I bought the corresponding bar tape and it is too bulky to fit the tape properly

I installed it as directed under a new set of handlebar tape. My bars are twice as soft as before and I can feel the difference in the road vibrations being transmitted to my hands/wrists. I only put this gel under the tape on the left side of my handlebars to test and compare it to just regular wrap, and now I'm ready to go ahead and do the right side.

Look great on my husband's Road bicycle. They are softer and add more absorption to the bouncing of riding his road bicycle. Only downside is he did have to use duct tape to secure the ends.

I have a Trek Madone 5.2 and having suffered from a broken wrist several years ago, the handlebars now cause me some discomfort on the broken wrist. With a good padded pair of bike gloves and these gel strips under padded handlebar wraps, I no longer have fatigue/soreness in the wrist. With no gel and just "average" handlebar wraps, my wrist was hurting pretty bad. My handlebars are pretty thick now though; and you will need to be good at wrapping to properly wrap your handlebars with this added padding underneath them; your wrap will end up too short if you don't really work on stretching it properly. They are probably only good for one wrap; so make sure you get it right as they will be damaged after being on the bike for a while and then trying to remove them from under the wrap.

I am honestly a little surprised at how well this stuff actually works. I knew that it was supposed to be the greatest thing to happen to handlebars since the invention of metal handlebars so cyclists all over the world finally were able to switch away from wooden bars that gave them splinters, blisters, and made cyclists a target for hungry beavers and woodpeckers. I was rewrapping two sets of bars recently, one on my Carbon Fiber dream bike, and one on my steel frame beater that I'd just built from the spare parts bin. The beater bike got neoprene mousepad installed under the wrap while I was waiting for this kit to be delivered. As soon as I felt what a difference a mousepad bar pad made, I was a little bummed, knowing that I'd just wasted my money on the Fizik pads. When I received the pads a couple of days later and Installed the On my Ritchey bars, I realized how wrong I was and was amazed at how much better it was compared to the mousepad. After a summer of riding on both bikes, I am not disappointed in the mousepad upgrade, but I can tell you that the next time I wrap those bars (or any other bars) they will be equipped with these Fizik gel pads. Sure, they cost a few bucks, but I'll bet your bike did, too. Your hands will thank you, even if the woodpeckers are not so appreciative.

This is my 2nd set of bar gel from fizik. I tired the clear gel they have but it just wasn't soft enough or cushiony for me.I dont like to use glove when I ride so I got this Blue gel for my first bike. I like it enough to get a 2nd set for my 2nd bike. Great gel, helps cushion, adds width to the bar if you looking for that.I also had no trouble taping my bars with the gel installed.
