The silicone grid work on the outside is way more slick than it is grippy. Comfortable tape, but becomes very slick when wet. If you dont ride in the rain nor sweat, then this may be for you.The tape is just long enough for my 42 drop bars. I ended up not needing to cut it and only did a 20% overlap.

This is fairly good tape. It's a smoother, less "grippy", tape than others I've used. And, not as much actual foam cushioning as I expected. Still it's decent tape. Goes on easily and looks good.

Love the feel and grip, I put it on my daily commuter, so about 20 miles a day in the rainy PNW. Highly recommend it. The blue is a nice bright cyan, not what I was expecting but I actually like the contrast on my teal whip.

My only complaint is with the sticky surface because of the rolled-on backing. Otherwise it’s well made with a nice pattern to it.

Replaced some fancy padded stuff that my LBS installed last year, which had worn poorly and provided zero cushion. This tape is sticky and has cushion (have 3 rides on it now). With the help of a couple videos online, installation was pretty easy. From now on, I'll wrap my own bars, and won't hesitate to buy TOPCABIN tape again.
