Excellent product. Works as advertised and is a great way to protect bike parts or many other things. Follow instructions because it is not adhesive, it seals to itself.

Love how easy it is to manage and place on my MTB bike. I don't have any dislikes about this product. It protects my frame from chain damage or from rocks/debris. It can go practically anywhere you need it on your MTB or other applications.

Important to know that the tape sticks to itself and not the frame of the bike, so wrap the frame accordingly. It has been on my bike for many rides now and is holding as strong as the first day. I will note that this tape has a strong tendency to collect dirt and dust, but overall has consistently protected my chainstay well.

I LOVE this product for bicycling purposes. I use it as a chainstay wrap, for cable management, carbon tube protection when mounting accessories, shimming for clamp-on accessories, temporary/semi-permanent attachment of devices, wrapping tool handles, the list goes on. It self-adheres and is one-time use, so get it right the first time and have extra on hand. I keep rolls of this in my shop.

This stuff is some kind of crazy magic tape. I'm a chemistry professor and spent all night thinking about how it must work. I bought it to protect the chainstays on my new mountain bike. After having used it, I'm going to buy a few more rolls and put the stuff on whatever I can around the house. I'm going to wrap it around the metal hanger hooks I use to store my bikes and other things in the garage and then just walk around trying to find stuff to wrap up. It is not sticky, has and leaves no adhesive residue, but fuses to itself almost to the point of melting together. It stretches probably 10x more than electrical tape, but does not become stretched out and useless like electrical tape does. The silicone allows you to stretch, recoil, stretch, recoil, almost to your heart's extent. Once wrapped, it creates a nice rubbery surface with a good amount of grip [if you wanted to use this as a gripping surface for road bars or anything with a handle]. I even wadded some of the scrap up into a ball, let it sit a few minutes, and then bounced it around like a bouncy ball. To get it off, you just cut an edge and tear it off. No cleanup. No mess. Truly amazing stuff.

ESI Silicone Tape is great stuff. Over a year later on my bike and it is still holding up well. Looks almost like new and definitely helps dampen some vibration.

This poor review is not because the product itself is bad. It's just not what I expected. The tape is "self-bonding". i didn't understand what that meant until i put it on and peeled it right back off. my intended use was to protect parts of my bike frame where cables rub. The tape requires that you wrap it all the way around on top of itself in order to bond. you can't just cut a small segment and stick it onto the frame.the product is probably pretty good, but just not what i need, and it wasn't clear from the description.
