This little guy is well made and fits great in the hot shoe of my GRIII X. This really helps with your grip on what is a small and compact camera.

The Ricoh GR III needed a grip because of its small size. So I purchased one to use, but never felt like it was quite right. So, I kept my eyes out for different models and ordered this one when it came up. This thumb grip is a little different than the one I was using because it is short, it does not run out all the way to the mode dial. IT stops just under the rocker switch on the back. For me, that is a much more comfortable place to grip because it means I have a more secure purchase on the camera, which is more lined up with my finger over the shutter button. It also allows me to find the rocker switch much more easily which I use for exposure compensation. All in all this grip is the one that is permanently mounted on my camera now.
