Getting hard to find. Works perfectly for my D500. Awesome feel and ergonomic controls. Ups the fps count and increases overall battery life (because now you have two batteries to utilize) very pleased 😁

The total cost is rather too high. I used it with my Nikon D 500

It works well and even this Nikon version has oddities. I put a fully charged battery in and it take a few hours or pictures for it to register as full. Whatever. Better than the off brands that show no charged batteries

I bought the Nikon MB-D17 battery grip to complete my D500 set up. In my 40 years of photography with Nikons I've always had a motor drive or battery grip on my cameras, they always help balance out large/long lenses and add battery power and weight to extend shooting time and help subdue vibrations. To me a camera isn't complete without a battery grip!My only concern was that the genuine MB-D17 grip was relatively expensive. However, when I started using the Nikon MB-D17 battery grip on the D500 I quickly realised that the price was easily justified…1. It fits really well and doesn't come loose with use like some third-party grips can.2. It's an exact match for the D500's exterior styling & material.3. The switches and joystick feel like they are the same high-quality ones that Nikon use on the D500.4. No compatibility issues with either Nikon batteries or camera functions. It even has a slot in the standard battery tray for the external power adapter (EP-B5) cable built-in!5. Up to 16 programmable alternatives for the function switches (buttons) and joystick, so it can set it up for the vertical grip buttons to work the same way as your camera's buttons are set to do.At the end of the day this was very satisfying and worry free purchase! If you're interested in external power solutions then it's worth checking Tether Tools' solutions for external battery packs, USB and mains power for the D500.

Complemento imprescindible para llevar una segunda batería en mi Nikon D500, asegurando mejor la sujeción de la máquina en horizontal y vertical.

Great Addition to my D500. Great Quality. I use mine with the En-EL 15a instead of the AA batteries. You need to purchase a BL-5 Battery Chamber Cover to do that but it's well worth it for the extra power.

Très bon produit, très solide mais c'est vrais, très chère.Je l'utilise sur mon D500 et j'ai pas envie d'avoir une copie qui risque d'endommager l'électronique de mon APN

DONT BUY THE KNOCK OFFS!!! it is worth paying the extra money for a genuine grip!!! They may look the same and they may even work the same... but they are not BUILT the same. The Knock off brands are hollow at the tripod mount... it feels like what would be just glue and plastic holding it together... whereas the Genuine grip is solid and sturdy at the mount.I use the Black Rapid Sport to attach to the tripod mount and carry it around with zero issues with a 70-200 or 150-600 lens.... I would definitely NOT trust the knock off brands to do that... its NOT worth it... you dropped a TON of money on a nice camera and lens... don't take the chance with knock off crud!!! BUY GENUINE GRIPS

Works very well on D500. Adds extra battery life and professional look and feel to your outfit...Well worth the investment for your rig...I have bought two other for my D7000, D7200And now for my D500.I have a Sony 6300 and need one for this camera, but they don't make one for it yet.... Nikon is the best .....

This works beautifully. Admittedly I haven't used an off-market grip, so I can't comment on how this differs from a much-cheaper option. Yes, this has the classic Nikon price, but it feels solid and works flawlessly. Like the terrific d500 body, this grip has the joystick to control focus points easily. I don't shoot weddings, so I had no need for the extra battery on hand, but the ergonomics of shooting portrait orientation with a grip are worth the extra weight and size alone -- but maybe not worth the price for you. I got this bundled "for free" with a d500 body, so the price was right for me. I don't know if I'd pay $370 ala cart for this, but I also know I've had problems with third party batteries, lenses, etc. Overall, very happy with this battery grip.

Compared to the Meike knockoff this is a major grip. The Nikon works flawlessly and is outstanding . The other gri p did not even fire a shot once installed and the joystick did not work. her eis a reason you buy OEM grips thos works with the 2K camera and works flawlessly.
