I didn’t expect these to be sharp enough to chop carrots and celery, but they are! Don’t hurt yourself getting them out of the package like I did.That being said, as a cheese lover, I enjoy having these, and the design helps me retain an aesthetic look to my snack platings. The handle is short, so despite the sharp blade you do not get much leverage, making it a bit tougher when cutting harder cheeses like mature aged cheddar or Parmesan.Hand wash, and don’t leave wooden handles soaking in water!

I’m very impressed with these cheese spreaders! They have a sleek, durable design with stainless steel blades and comfortable wooden handles that provide a solid grip. These are perfect for so many things. Perfect for spreading butter, jam, sour cream. Quality knives. Comfortable to hold. Lightweight. Washes up great. Sharp and looks nice on table. Great value.

I thought these were butter spreaders but they turned out to be almost more like cheese knives. They are super freaking sharp. They look great so I’ll use them with adults but my original plan was for my boys to use them for fun spreads. That’s not going to happen!
