I have other wooden utensils and this is by far the cheapest one I've run into. I tried to use it and it felt like it was going to snap in half. I used it on. goat cheese and was ok. I know they are supposed to be light but they're too flimsy for me. I'm not sure if these will get used but I will definitely hold onto them and try on other things.

Cute little butter knives. Handy to have, glad I got them.

I ordered the Asanta wooden butter knives for removing whipped milk, butter, and other spreadable food from our appliances with the teflon coating. The area is too small for our silicone spatulas, and I am afraid of using any metal devices. For our use, these wooden knives work well. We have also used these knives for spreading jam and butter. What is great about using it for jam and butter is that these knives are so light, the risk of the knife falling over from its own weight and catapulting some sticky material is significantly reduced.

These would be great for a party or get together if you wanted your knives for spreads or jams to be a bit fancier. They spread the butter on my sourdough bread nicely. It would be nice if they were longer, if your jar is very deep, you're probably going to get your hands dirty reaching the knife down into the jar.

Soft cheeses, butter, jam, honey, you name it, these little spreaders are sweet gifts at a very perfect price. I'm not sure what "natural wood" is as per product description but it's beautiful. Note: After using one of these a few times to spread butter on English muffins, the finish is wearing off and exposing rough plain wood. I find these spreaders to be attractive but not very practical.

These are exactly as described. They are wooden butter knives or spreading knives. They work well doing the job of spreading butter or really anything that needs spreading, They wash just fine in the dishwasher and by being hand washed. I will say they are very light weight and kind of look like a child's toy. But, they work well and do what they are supposed to do. When making a PB&J sandwich it is much quicker and easier then using other utensils. I will continue to use these. Also, I have children and I feel safe letting my children use these when helping to make sandwiches. These cannot be used to cut anything but they are not advertised to cut. I like them and will continue to use as them. They are okay quality and may not last forever but they are affordable and usable.
