This single origin Costa Rican raw coffee is farmed on the reputable La Minita Estate. The farm lies along the Tarrazu river renowned for producing great tasting arabica coffee. Here, coffee grows under a canopy of trees which provide essential nitrogen and natural fertilizer.

Medium Roast develops a structured cup with bright cherry, plum and sweet orange top notes. Smooth chocolate base notes and rich layers of caramel rounds this Costa Rica unroasted coffee.

Green coffee beans are great for longer storage. It's good have some in pantry for case I am running out of roasted coffee. Roasting on the pan is easy, in thin layer on pan does not need to much time and I roast it dark to my liking. If you try to roast your coffee, don;t forget on the end to "blow away" from roasted coffee thin peels, they would make your coffee taste bitter then.

The coffee is as I remember it - and I returned with a suitcase full of roasted and green beans. But , alas when the suitcase of coffee ran out I turned to this on Amazon. Not disappointed at all.

Lightly roasted it has an almost popcorn like flavor. These are very small beans.
