The cross bolt that fastens the ring to the rail is large and square and, while it is obviously an advantage for heavy recoil firearms, the bolt will not fit a Weaver mount. I will be keeping the rings though. The rings fit the Picatinny rail on my single shot 45-70 Henry. That rifle kicks, by the way.

Just like one of the other reviewers said the first ones they sent me will not slide on to the Picatinny rail. It’s it’s as if these are a set of returns that were screwed on too tight although it seems hard to believe that that’s the case.. it’s just that the machining is not precision so I’m gonna order another set and see what happens. I’ll update.

The Gotical Offset Reversible scope solved the eye relief issue on my rimfire. The grip on the dovetail is solid, there no movement.

These scope rings do not have side piece that could be moved away to place rings on the Picatinny rail. They use advanced design where it slides on the rail and then sides are squezed with the bolt securely attaching them to the rail. I like this design as it always center the rings on the rail, BUT it requires precise machining, which is not the case here! I tried these rings on two different rails - it could not be slid on either! This is a machining flow or possibly, the tightening bolts were screwerd in too much on the factory bringing the sides too close so that they do not fit onto the rail.Anyway, I am sending them back - maybe positive revierws came for the rings from a different batch...Update: Yesterday I received another set of these rings, which was originally delayed in the shipping and I was not sure that it will arrive. Anyway, I decided to test these rings - they fit perfectly! Apparently, my first shipment was somebody's return (it was also missing a second bag with 2 screws!), which was destroyed by the original person by over-tightening the mounting screws WITHOUT putting the rings onto the rail, which squeezed sides to the point that they would not fit onto the rail!So, the product is fine - as long as you receive the original one, not somebody's return, for which I took off 1 star.

I have been looking for a bracket like this for quite a while I have a scope that has just enough room on bboth sides of the windage and elevation turrents to just fit single mounting brackets and that is very limitng as to the type of mounts that can be used. This enables me to use this mount on several differant scopes. The braket is very well made and it works great. Well worth the price and I would recommend it to others.

It doesn't work on Ruger 10/22 carbine limit edition. The screws are too big to fit in the cut out slot.
